Out of all hooping |
I'm Melissa Wiley. I write books for kids and teens. This Tumblr is my linksharing vehicle, a companion to my blog, Here in the Bonny Glen. I'm also a contributing writer at Wired.com's GeekMom. I cowrite a webcomic, Into the Thicklebit, with my husband, Scott Peterson, and illustrator Chris Gugliotti. Click to subscribe in your feed reader. |
When I created this space, it was for the purpose of archiving my own online reading:
A place to keep track of the reading I do online. Notes, quotes, links: a record of where I’ve been & what I’ve read, a commonplace book. Doesn’t mean I agree with everything linked or logged here; just means I read it and want to remember where to find it again.
Now I use Evernote for that.
With the death of Google Reader’s Shared Items feature, I’m reviving this Tumblr to replace my beloved Reader Share. I’m also sharing links via Diigo (I prefer the look of its widget in my blog sidebar), but I’ve decided to send them to this Tumblr as well, because it allows comments. We’ll see which platform I wind up preferring.
This post is to serve as a separator between my old Tumblr (commonplace book for my own perusal) and new Tumblr (things to share with others).
My blog is Here in the Bonny Glen.
